IRVING — Keith Brooking no longer has the market cornered in Dallas for over-the-top intensity.
That was clear to Wade Phillips when he spoke to Sean Lee moments after the Cowboys selected the Penn State linebacker in the second round of the NFL draft.
“This is great, Coach,” Lee said.
“Yes, it is,” Phillips said.
“We are going to win a championship,” Lee boldly declared.
Phillips relayed that exchange to underscore what he called Lee's “Brooking-type intensity.”
