YOGA
Yoga is the science and art of living that deals with the whole person. It is calming the mind, and expanding awareness of the body through exercise, conscious breathing, and deep relaxation.
Yoga creates an atmosphere of internal peace and harmony, helping with the management of stress. Yoga classes are available for all fitness levels several days during the week for an additional charge. For more information, please see the front desk on your next visit or e-mail us at pbubnis@aquahab.com.

PILATES
Get all the results with no pain, no sweat. Pilates is essentially core strength training based on the Joseph H. Pilates method of exercise instruction. Pilates promises that you'll feel better in 10 visits, look better in 20 and have a new body in 30!

For an hour, an instructor leads a client through a volley of positions on the floor. Repetitions are low, but concentration is intense. The stomach and the butt squeeze, the legs and arms reach. The subject uses muscles that have not been engaged in a long time and he or she will feel the change in their body and see positive results. Pilates works! Mat Pilates classes are available for all fitness levels every day of the week for an additional charge. For more information, please see the front desk on your next visit or e-mail us at pbubnis@aquahab.com.

YOGA FIT KIDS!
Starting October 15th

Why Yoga? Yoga is not only the oldest form of physical fitness in the world, it is also the most available to people of all ages. Children come into the world as natural yogis. Their joints are pliable and their muscles are flexible. Yoga encourages kids to explore their natural flexibility and to become stronger through natural and functional physical movement using their own body weight. Today, children are under a lot of stress. Endless homework and activities, pressure to compete, and family schedules can contribute to anxiety, tension headaches, and nervous stomachaches. Yoga counteracts that stress and gives children tools to cope

A few of the benefits of the YogaFit Kids program are:

Safely and effectively improving Strength and Flexibility, Developing Strong, Limber and Healthy Bodies, Improved Coordination and Posture, Learning to Relax – opening up to a peaceful state of mind and body, Expressing Creativity and Imagination, Increasing body awareness and learning basics of anatomy and health, Improving Concentration, Attention, and Focus, Improving Self Esteem & Confidence - everyone can be successful in yoga, Learning positive social interaction and playing/learning “With” others, balanced with Learning to be comfortable working with an inward focus – “Within”, Emotional Balance – tools for coping with pressures of school and emotional problems, Breath work oxygenates the blood to improve nerve function and strengthen the central nervous system – calms and relaxes nerves.
