AQUATIC RULES AND POLICIES
- The Aquatic and Fitness Center (AFC) bills its swim lesson clients on a pre-pay basis. Payment must be made prior to your first lesson.
- You are responsible for scheduling all lessons at the front desk. If you wish to make standing appointments for the same day and time each week, please schedule all of your lessons at the time of enrollment.
- Please be punctual for your appointment. Our swim instructors may have other appointments and cannot extend the time of your lessons. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled lesson, that session may be forfeited and billed as scheduled.
- If you need to reschedule a lesson due to illness, emergency, or an unexpected situation, one (1) makeup session will be made available to you per eight (8) lesson package. This make up lesson must be scheduled within two (2) weeks of the last lesson.
- When canceling an appointment, clients are required to give 12 hours advance notice. Please call the front desk at 215-677-0400. If you fail to call and cancel, you will be charged for that lesson. NO REFUNDS will be issued for missed lessons.
- If your Swim Instructor must cancel or postpone your lesson, we will contact you immediately and reschedule at your earliest convenience.
- Swim lessons may not be carried for more than 90 days. Any swim lessons that remain unused following the 3 month period will be forfeited and non-transferable. We have quality instructors and an overabundance of students waiting for lessons, so your cooperation is appreciated.
- Parents may not swim during the child's lesson; this will distract your child and they will not benefit from the lesson. Parents are required to remain in the facility during the lesson and are permitted to watch the child from the pool deck.
- Your purchase of swim lessons does not entitle you to use the entire club. After each lesson, the participant must exit the pool unless you are currently a member of AFC.
- Changing rooms are located near the lifeguard station on the pool deck.
- The purchase of swim lesson services is an agreement between you and The Aquatic and Fitness Center, not the swim instructor. We recommend that you choose one instructor for the duration of the lessons, but if at any time you are unsatisfied with a particular swim instructor or the swim instructor is no longer available, you may transfer your lessons to another instructor at AFC. No refunds will be issued.
