PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training is not just for athletes. It is not just about having bigger arms or a thinner waist. Personal training is a way for you to get the individual attention, motivation and guidance that you need to perform, look and feel your best.

When it comes to Personal Training, it should be just that, "personal." Our Certified Personal Trainers will take time to evaluate your needs and goals. We will help you identify and avoid obstacles that may distract you from those goals. And, we will help you to maximize your results by focusing your time and effort to be as efficient and productive as possible.

Your personal training analysis and plan will include:

Fitness Test
An assessment of your present fitness level including body measurement, body fat testing, resting heart rate, body fat, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and restructuring of your current fitness system.

Nutritional Consultation
Our nutritionist can help you develop a personal fitness plan for healthy eating and weight management. You will:
  • Learn to eat right
  • Make wise food choices
  • Lose weight and keep it off
  • Reach your goal weight safely
  • Learn how to work with your busy schedule and still eat healthy. Also, learn the importance of balance in your diet and how to get it.

Regular Re-Evaluations
Maintenance plans and regular re-evaluations can be scheduled with your personal trainer every 6-8 weeks as needed.

BRANDON EDWARDSBRANDON EDWARDS

Brandon is a staff trainer here at the Aquatic and Fitness Center. He is one of the newest additions to the personal training staff. Here is a little background of Brandon.

In High School he participated in two sports, football and track and field. The football field was where he achieved most of his success.  Over the years he has received many awards and honors, which include Team MVP, All City, All Catholic and played in the Montgomery County All Star Game.  His success on the football field earned him an athletic scholarship to Millersville University.  While at Millersville, he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry.  An injury plagued his college career and led to an interest in personal training.  After college, he decided to continue his education at The National Personal Training Institute.

As a personal trainer, he evaluates his success through the success of his clients.  Success isn’t something that happens overnight. It takes hard work and dedication.  Weather your recovering from an injury or just want to get in better shape, Brandon enjoys putting together workouts that are both fun and functional.  Brandon’s goal is to help each client achieve their personal fitness goals as well as help them function better in everyday activities.

When Brandon is not working out or training others, he spends a lot of my time volunteering in his community, feeding the homeless, participating in clothing drives, and mentoring at risk youth.  Brandon also enjoys spending time with his family, bowling, white water rafting, and participating in charity fun runs.
