In 2019, PADELphia was founded as a pop-up padel club - unlike anything done in the US before! Located on Venice Island in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia, this outdoor club was created to introduce the area to the sport of padel. This high energy introduction to the sport was well attended, allowing over 500 players of all ages to give it a shot and learn more about it. As the community around padel grew, we knew the courts had to stay.
Right off of Main Street in Manayunk, the courts on Venice Island are the perfect spot for outdoor play. Minutes away from street fairs, art festivals, local brews and restaurants - you can come to play and hang out for the day. Only 15 minutes from downtown, the courts are ideal for those coming in from outside of the area as well.
