Expansion and Renovations at AFC Fitness in Bala Cynwyd
To celebrate AFC’s 20th Anniversary in Bala Cynwyd and our 27th year in business, we are about to embark on some exciting changes.
Our Bala Cynwyd location, a 110,000 square-foot athletic, fitness and wellness center, will undergo major upgrades and renovations all over the club including new class studios, larger common areas and walkways, second floor updates, parking lot expansion, babysitting room, as well as equipment, services and class programming and more.

Located at 601 Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd, AFC fitness has long been the Main Line leader in indoor athletics and exercise options, including:

- Physical Therapy
- Cardio Zones
- Indoor Tennis Courts
- Racquetball Courts

The Bala Cynwyd gym location also offers weight-loss training, nutrition and endurance coaching, fitness assessments and complimentary towel and locker room services.
We will be hosting a grand re-opening celebration when the upgrades are complete, at a date to be determined later.
In addition to having the premier fitness center on the Main Line, we also own two other clubs in the Philadelphia metro area, including a gym in Jenkintown in the same complex as Bed, Bath and Beyond and SteinMart, and another fitness center in Feasterville-Trevose.
The clubs are open 365 days a year with individual and family memberships available. Hours range from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
