Insanity can help build strength and tone your muscles all over your body. Various workouts within the Insanity program emphasize upper-body and lower-body-toning. Some workouts integrate exercise for your core and abdominals. Benefits of resistance training or strength training include reducing the risk of injuries, maintaining your bone mineral density and improving your strength. Work out in 3 to 5 minute blocks, and take breaks only long enough to prepare you to move again.
