AFC Fitness Opening New Health and Fitness Center in Radnor

We are so excited to be opening our newest health and fitness center in Radnor, PA where we believe our model – an inspiring interior design, combined with in-demand fitness amenities and programs, and a customer focused staff – will add to the local community’s healthy lifestyle. The new venue will open in the former Philadelphia Sports Club located in the Radnor Financial Center at 555 E. Lancaster Ave, and marks our third health club in the Philadelphia area and our second on the Main Line. The Radnor location incorporates the latest in healthy living technology and an open architectural design of 42,000 square feet across two floors, creating a fitness destination which is custom designed to meet the demands of health club members during COVID-19.

Opening in early summer of 2022, every detail has been considered and is set to bring fitness to a new level right in the heart of the Wayne, Radnor, Villanova stretch of the Main Line. Bringing more than a gym, we’re building a health and wellness club designed to inspire and delight and will feature an indoor heated lap pool, dynamic fitness and trainer-led classes, mind and body studio classes, two cardio spaces, strength training spaces, two turf areas, post-workout recover center, spa-level locker rooms, on site café, and much more.

AFC Fitness is an original Philly company. We opened our first location over 30 years ago in Philadelphia, which gives us an advantage over the national fitness corporations in the area, in that they cannot provide the same unique fitness experience offered by AFC. That’s because we know our members so well due to our local roots and ownership. Our members are from the same neighborhoods where our staff and owners live.

Our fitness center on the lower Main Line, AFC Fitness Bala Cynwyd, has recently expanded and now houses the ultimate indoor sports destination – the Sports Complex at AFC. With three indoor basketball and volleyball courts, an indoor turf field, 3 padel courts and a players’ lounge, it is the top destination for youth and adult recreation sports in the Philadelphia region. The Bala Cynwyd location includes over 70 group fitness classes per week, personal training, a fitness floor with the latest cardio and strength equipment, a pool for aquatic exercise, racquetball, and luxurious spa locker rooms with private showers. The fitness center and sports complex combined provide over 110,000 square feet of indoor exercise and have up to 30-foot ceilings ensuring everyone has enough personal space.

Our Feasterville health club opened in 2014 and features resort-like amenities and activities including two gorgeous indoor pools, 4 racquetball courts, tons of group fitness classes, an expansive fitness floor with top of the line cardio and strength equipment, personal training, and just about every fitness activity imaginable. And with over 88,000 square feet of exercise space, it is the ultimate fitness center in Lower Bucks county, with room for everyone to feel comfortable before, during and after their workouts.
